Senior Center Site Manager
Do you have a passion for helping seniors stay active, connected, and cared for? We’re looking for a Senior Center Site Manager to lead the daily operations of our Senior Nutrition Site Program!
The Butts County Board of Commissioners is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Center Site Manager to lead the daily operations of our Nutrition Site Program. This role is essential in providing quality services, activities, and support for our senior citizens, fostering a welcoming environment that promotes health, engagement, and community.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Plan, supervise, and operate the Senior Nutrition Site Program.
- Recruit and interview clients aged 50+ for nutrition, transportation, and in-home services.
- Maintain accurate client files, records, and reports.
- Coordinate and oversee daily meal service and transportation needs.
- Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers and part-time staff.
- Develop and implement senior programs and activities.
- Submit monthly reports.
- Ensure a safe and well-maintained facility environment.
- Build relationships with clients, volunteers, and the community
- Plan fun and engaging programs for senior aged 50+.
- Drive a van as needed for client transportation
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college or vocational coursework in accounting, business administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience working with senior citizens and program management strongly desired.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and basic accounting principles.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work tactfully and effectively with diverse individuals.
- Valid driver’s license required.
