CALL FOR SPECIAL ELECTION

To be published in a newspaper of appropriate circulation- O.C.G.A. §21-2-2(3)

Notice is hereby given that, in accordance with O.C.G.A. § 21-2-540, a Special Primary Election shall be held in Butts County for Public Service Commission Districts 3. The Special Primary Runoff Election will be held on July 15, 2025.  The last day to register to vote for the Special Primary Election is Monday, May 19, 2025.  Requests for Absentee ballots by mail can be made now through Friday, July 3rd, in the office, by phone, or by mvp.sos.ga.gov.  If you have any questions, please call 770-775-8202.

Early voting will be held at the following locations and times:

Elections & Voter Registration Main Office: 625 W. Third Street, Suite 5, Jackson, GA 30233

July 7th – July 11th 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Voting Poll is located at Butts County Administration Building, 625 W. Third St., Election Office, Jackson, GA 30233.  The polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Election Day.
