Paramedic/Firefighter

Salary: $56, 380.53

Butts County Fire & Emergency Services is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Firefighter/Paramedic to join our team!

This position provides advanced emergency medical care and fire protection to the citizens of Butts County while working a 24/48 shift schedule. The Firefighter/Paramedic may be assigned to an ambulance or fire engine and is responsible for responding to emergency calls, providing patient care, transporting patients, assisting with fire suppression operations, and maintaining emergency equipment and facilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current Georgia Paramedic certification/license meeting applicable state requirements
• Current Firefighter certification
• Current CPR certification
• Valid Class F Georgia driver’s license
• Ability to maintain required annual certification and training requirements
• Must meet applicable Georgia requirements regarding criminal history
