Part-Time Kitchen Aide

The Butts County Senior Center is seeking a part-time Kitchen Aide. We are looking for applicants to assist in packaging home delivered meals, preparing, serving, and clean-up after serving meals.

We are looking for a dependable, energetic person with customer service skills, who works with a minimum of supervision and exercises excellent independent judgment; speaks effectively and is attentive to detail.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Unloading food
• Ability to read menus & prepare food following general written directions
• Document food received from central kitchen
• Check and record temperatures of pre-cooked foods
• Assist drivers in packaging food in containers for home delivery
• Prepare & serve morning snacks as directed
• Clean & wash/sterilize tables, serving utensils, trays, etc

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D
• Ability to follow verbal and written directions and instructions
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age and possess a valid Georgia Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record
