The Board of Commissioners hereby calls a meeting for the purposes of entering into a joint Executive Session with the two other local governments, those being the Butts County Development Authority and the Butts County Water Authority. The joint meeting will be called to order at 8:30 AM and will be held at the Central Georgia EMC Annex. The subject of this executive session is an economic development project covered by a nondisclosure agreement, and the subject and contents of such documents are protected under Georgia’s Open Records Act. (O.C.G.A. § 50-18-72(a)(46)). Georgia’s Open Meetings Act authorizes local governments to enter into executive session to consider and discuss the contents of documents protected by the Open Records Act. (O.C.G.A. § 50-14-3(4)).
