The Butts County Board of Commissioners will conduct a public hearing for the purpose of considering the matters listed below. The hearings will be held on Monday, October, 2023, at 6:00 PM at the Butts County Administration Building in Courtroom B located at 625 West Third Street, Jackson, Georgia.

Case # 05-01-2023 RZ – Den Webb, Agent for owners, & Hillwood Development Company, LLC, Applicant, are requesting rezoning for an assemblage of parcels totaling approximately 65.9 acres from A-R, Agricultural-Residential, to M-1, Manufacturing – Light for the purposes of developing three large scale warehouse/logistical buildings totaling approximately 1,319,829 SF. The subject properties are further identified as Map/Parcel IDs: 00030-007-A00, 00030-005-000, 00030-005-A00, 00030-007-B00, 00030-007-000, & 00030-007-C00. The subject properties are located in Land Lots 25 & 26 in the 2nd Land District of Butts County. A revised development agreement has been proposed for the associated zoning case. The Board of Commissioners will consider the item for final decision.
