Minutes of the Board of Commissioners Called Meeting for July 10, 2023

Workshop (5:30 PM)
Mr. Douglas convened the workshop. Following an update on River Park by Bill Jones, the Board discussed A). The FY2024 Three Rivers Transit Contract for approval, B). Authorizing a letter of support for Henry County IDA, C). Awarding of the fuel bid by resolution, D). Awarding a bid for LMIG improvements to Halls Bridge Road, and E. Awarding Lux Mitigation the contract for our new Hazard Mitigation Plan. All items were added to the Consent Agenda for the 6:00 PM meeting. The workshop adjourned.

Regular Meeting 6:00 PM
Mr. Douglas called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm, joined by all Members.

Item 2023-07-132 Adoption of the Docket
Mr. Brown moved to approve the docket, including adding all workshop items requiring approval to the consent agenda, and this was seconded by Mr. Rivers and approved unanimously.

Item 2023-07-133 Approval of Minutes
Mr. Rivers moved to approve the minutes, seconded by Mr. Brown with unanimous consent.

Item 2023-07-134 Approval of Consent Agenda
Mr. Rivers moved to approve consent agenda, seconded by Mr. Brown with unanimous consent.

Item 2023-07-135 Executive Session
Mr. Rivers moved to go into Executive Session, seconded by Mr. Brown for litigation and personnel. Later, Mr. Crumbly moved to reconvene, seconded by Mr. Henderson with unanimous consent. The Attorney informed the audience that the board discussed two legal items and one personnel matter.

Item 2023-07-146 Adjournment
Mr. Crumbley moved to adjourn, seconded by Mr. Brown with unanimous consent. Adjourned.
