A called meeting of the Butts County Board of Commissioners was held on February 15th, 2011 at 2:00 PM. Chairman McDaniel called the meeting to order. Dr. White opened by presenting a slideshow presentation regarding the budget for all the various departments in the county. Mike O’Quinn then presented to the board his role in the county and certain duties as the legal council for Butts County. Todd Barnes & Brian Ubell with Baird & Company spoke about SPLOST requirements. Clint Muller from ACCG explained what staff could or couldn’t do with SPLOST. Chairman McDaniel asked for a motion to adjourn; Mr. Hodges motioned to adjourn seconded by Mr. Douglas with a 4-0 vote recorded.
