COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR’S MESSAGE

Steve Layson is the Interim County Administrator for Butts County and as such, oversees the Administration Department. This department is responsible for the day-to-day running of the business affairs of the County and is point of contact for the Commissioner’s Office. The department essentially provides all of the administrative structure of the government and a variety of services both to the general public and to the employee workforce of the County.
