Roger D. McDaniel was elected in 2008 and took office in 2009. He employed by the Georgia Power Company and is an active member of First Baptist Church of Jackson. He has completed both the ACCG Basic Commissioner Certification and the Advanced Commissioner Certification, becoming the fourth Butts County Commissioner to achieve both certifications. He was elected by the board to serve as Vice Chairman in 2009 and 2010 and was elected Chairman of the Board of Commissioners for 2011 and again in 2012.
